The overhead lane kit is the de facto method of monitoring electronic toll collection lanes in toll plaza applications, for highway traffic monitoring and at open road toll (ORT) sites. Each kit includes an FCC type approved RF module, adaptor cable and an antenna intended for mounting directly over a lane. Some versions of MARK IV lane kits include test tags. Test tags are also available separately where desired.
Different antenna styles are available to accommodate various RF situations that are found among differing site configurations. For example, different plat panel antennas are available to optimize performance in traditional toll plaza lanes, for open road toll lanes, for traffic monitoring purposes, for low ceiling garage applications and even for fast food drive-thru sites. We also have lane kits to support the lab environment and to manually over-ride automated transactions. The wide variety of lane kits we offer caters to most every transponder-enabled Intelligent Transportation System application. |
